Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kalana Kawaanui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ty Trevino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Trevino, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kawaanui showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Trevino.

Kawaanui shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Trevino manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Trevino feints a jab promting Kawaanui to slip. Trevino then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kawaanui slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kawaanui feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round but I would say that Kalana Kawaanui will probably get the nod.
