The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vonglolia looks to land a combination but Akiyama avoids it well.
Akiyama decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Akiyama might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Vonglolia kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

He's out! He's out cold! Vonglolia gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
