Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fedya Shlemenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcos Paulo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcos Paulo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Paulo enables Shlemenko to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Paulo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Paulo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Shlemenko is just riding it out for now. Paulo eventually gives up the hold.

Paulo lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Shlemenko down.

Paulo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Shlemenko looks calm but he's in trouble here. Paulo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Shlemenko is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Paulo lets go of the hold and Shlemenko can pop his arm back in it's socket.
