The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gambini shoots in and gets a takedown into Hayes's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Hayes is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gambini is controlling him.

Gambini has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Gambini misses with a takedown attempt - Hayes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hayes looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Frankie Gambini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gambini is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hayes gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
