Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lane Andrews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Welcome to the Terrordome. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rocky Jones!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrews keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but Andrews swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Andrews.
Jones connects with a looping right hand.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Andrews but Andrews pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A jab from Andrews misses.
Andrews displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jones.
Jones changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Andrews tries to avoid it but Jones manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Andrews to the ground. Andrews escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lane Andrews has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Jones.
Andrews jabs Jones to the body, keeping him at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jones shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Andrews's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Andrews has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Jones off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Andrews gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Andrews is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea.

Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Andrews is retaining full guard.
Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Jones throws a strike but Andrews rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Andrews has gone for a leg lock! Jones slips out almost immediately though and dives into Andrews's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jones is trying to control. Andrews wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Andrews knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.

Jones stands up out of the half guard.
Andrews throws a right and a left that both miss.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jones scores a takedown into full mount!
Jones lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Andrews hang on?

Jones thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Andrews wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Jones.
Jones trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Jones thowing shots but they're missing.

Andrews bucks up and throws Jones to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!

Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Andrews has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Jones is proving hard to escape from.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Andrews's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Andrews wants to stand up but Jones is controlling him.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rocky Jones dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Jones shoots in for a double leg but Andrews sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jones swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Andrews.

Jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Jones is trying to trip Andrews. He has hold of a leg but Andrews is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jones persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rocky Jones.
Jones throws a one two combo.
Andrews throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely.
Lane Andrews is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jones looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Andrews misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones tries for a takedown but Andrews sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jones scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Andrews moves out of range easily.
Andrews swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Jones counters with a left and a right that hurts Andrews! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Jones jumps into full mount!

Andrews is rocked!

Jones postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Andrews bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Jones and the fight is over!
