The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soares walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

and Tango connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Soares throws a hook but Tango blocks it.

The referee is keeping an eye on Tango - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Tango lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Soares wants to get back to striking at distance but Tango won't allow it.
Tango lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Tango lands a right hand that snaps the head of Soares backwards.

Soares is rocked!
Tango lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Soares.
Tango works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Tango creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Soares with a big uppercut! Soares tries to clinch up but Tango pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Soares to the mat! Soares covers up and Tango unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
