The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lombardi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Chase walks away with a smile on his face. Lombardi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Lombardi. Chase shrugs it off though.

Sasmuki Lombardi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Chase has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Lombardi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Chase just stands there and leans against the cage.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Chase takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
