And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deathgrip throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Kongo counter with a right hand.
It looks like Blink Deathgrip has been cut.
Deathgrip throws a leg kick that is checked
and Kongo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kongo takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Deathgrip staying out of range there.
Kongo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Deathgrip manages to avoid it.
Kongo dances in with a quick combination. Deathgrip is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Kongo snaps Deathgrip's head back. Deathgrip stumbles backwards against the cage. Kongo steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Deathgrip's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Deathgrip just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Surge Kongo!
Surge Kongo took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
