Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between M J Shain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Banuelos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shain's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Thunderstruck. Victor Banuelos will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Chad Campbell and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banuelos uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Shain.
Shain shoots in for a double leg but Banuelos sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Shain throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Banuelos sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Banuelos pivots, looking for a leg kick but Shain is out of range and Banuelos settles back down.
Banuelos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Shain swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Banuelos tries a low kick but Shain avoids it.
Shain fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Banuelos sprawls well initially but Shain persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Shain wants to pass the guard but Banuelos is defending well.
Shain looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Shain cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Banuelos is trying desperately to improve position.

Shain working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Banuelos does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Good leg kick by Banuelos there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Shain counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
No joy there for Shain, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Shain takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Shain drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Banuelos is adopting a defensive guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Banuelos holds on and takes a little breather.
Shain stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Banuelos swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Shain is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Shain shoots in and drives through. Banuelos sprawls well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Shain tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The referee is keeping an eye on Banuelos - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Shain jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Banuelos walks away with a smile on his face. Shain gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

And that's the end of the fight!
Victor Banuelos comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Banuelos has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Victor Banuelos tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
