Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derrick Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gordon has chosen DOBERMAN as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Derrick Gordon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Derrick Gordon!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Roberts and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon connects with a looping right hand.
John Freeman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Freeman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gordon tries to avoid it but Freeman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gordon to the ground. Gordon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gordon scores with a shot to the body.
Gordon displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Freeman.
Gordon connects with the punch.
Freeman is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Freeman takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Gordon lands a hook that stumbles Freeman back into the cage. Gordon follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Freeman to the canvas! Gordon pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Freeman has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
