Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryan McCarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McCarthy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Crank That-Soulja Boy. Johnny Garcia has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia walks into a left hand.

It looks like Johnny Garcia has been cut.
McCarthy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Garcia is trying hard to land a takedown here. McCarthy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Garcia looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Garcia tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McCarthy swivels and escapes.
Garcia takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
McCarthy pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Garcia closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into McCarthy's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
McCarthy wants to stand but Garcia is controlling the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Garcia accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Garcia prevents McCarthy from getting back to his feet.
Garcia postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Garcia is standing up over McCarthy. McCarthy looks to escape but Garcia dives into side control.
Garcia has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
McCarthy is trying to get back to his feet.
McCarthy bucks up and tries to throw Garcia off but instead Garcia has got his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Garcia tries to keep control of the position but McCarthy is staying busy.

McCarthy is trying to get back to his feet but Garcia has full control of the position and if anything, McCarthy has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Garcia is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but McCarthy won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Garcia off his unconscious opponent!
