Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carpet Chair!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Panagiotis Papadopoulos!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Papadopoulos with that takedown attempt.
Papadopoulos doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Chair counters with a thumping low kick.
Papadopoulos with a poor takedown
and Chair counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Carpet Chair has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Panagiotis Papadopoulos.
Chair tries for a takedown but Papadopoulos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sloppy strikes from Chair. Those never looked like landing.
Papadopoulos tries to clinch but Chair moves out of range.

Papadopoulos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chair gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Papadopoulos pulls Chair in close to prevent any damage.
Chair postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Papadopoulos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chair manages to get himself to full guard.

Chair has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Papadopoulos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Chair manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Papadopoulos can't escape the position.

Chair thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Chair cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Papadopoulos sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chair is working for a kimura but Papadopoulos is defending it quite comfortably.
Chair wants to take a breather but Papadopoulos is having none of it.
Papadopoulos gets back to full guard.

Papadopoulos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Chair defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Papadopoulos is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Chair rolls with it to try and escape but Papadopoulos cranks on the arm and Chair is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
