Castle comes to the cage accompanied by 12 Stones - Bulletproof. Hungus is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Marilyn Manson - Sweet Dreams. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Karl Hungus!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hungus thows a body shot but no joy.
Hungus fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Castle manages to avoid it.
Hungus ducks under a wild hook from Castle.
Hungus swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Some wild striking there from Castle.
Hungus looks to land a combination but Castle avoids it well.
No joy there for Castle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hungus looks to land a combination but Castle avoids it well.
Castle throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Castle swinging wildly here.
Castle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hungus thuds a left hand into Castle's body.
Castle moves into range and connects with a jab.
Castle slips a jab and a cross from Hungus.
Hungus looks to land a combination but Castle avoids it well.
Castle throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hungus counters with a series of strikes. Castle will be more careful next time no doubt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hungus tries to bum rush Castle with a series of wild strikes but Castle uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Hungus throws a right and a left that Castle avoids nicely.
Hungus swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hungus misses with a few strikes there.
Hungus looks to land a combination but Castle avoids it well.
Hungus stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Castle.
Hungus throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hungus's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Castle connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hungus scrambles back to his feet.
Castle dodges the punch combination from Hungus.
Castle throws a nice outside leg kick.
Castle throws a lazy right hand but Hungus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Castle works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hungus avoids a punch combination nicely.
Castle delivers a nice body kick.
Hungus misses with a wild body shot.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Castle shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hungus manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hungus looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Castle engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Hungus is trying to hold Castle in close to prevent damage but Castle has managed to pass into half guard.

Castle is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hungus sees it coming and defends easily.

Hungus looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Castle is looking for a kimura but Hungus is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Castle to get the leverage.

Castle is looking to take a break and control but Hungus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Castle tries to pass to full mount but Hungus defends it.
Castle trying to control from half guard but Hungus is working away.

Hungus has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Castle. Oh but Hungus has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Castle goes limp - he's gone! Hungus jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
