The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Iperbole displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chase throws out the jab.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Iperbole rushes Chase and presses him up against the cage.

Chase is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Iperbole is defending well.

Iperbole is pressed up against the cage. Chase has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Iperbole down to the mat. Iperbole avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Iperbole tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chase swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Chase goes for a takedown in the clinch but Iperbole prevents it.

A nice right hand lands inside from Iperbole.
Chase wants the takedown. Iperbole is fighting it off but Chase persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Iperbole's guard against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Iperbole really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chase. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Iperbole pushes Chase away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Chase gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
