Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Jokuani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Filip Kirkorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Sergei Dronov and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jokuani connects with a high kick.
Kirkorov misses with a takedown attempt
and Jokuani counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Kirkorov fails with the takedown
and Jokuani makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Dan Jokuani has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Filip Kirkorov.
Kirkorov shoots and misses
and Jokuani counters with a head kick. That will keep Kirkorov thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Kirkorov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

and Jokuani counters with a series of strikes. Kirkorov will be more careful next time no doubt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jokuani wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

and Kirkorov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Jokuani turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kirkorov takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A left and a right from Jokuani both land. Nice combination.
Jokuani scoring well with a low kick there.
Jokuani scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kirkorov doesn't seem bothered though.
Kirkorov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jokuani connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kirkorov scrambles back to his feet.
Dan Jokuani is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kirkorov is trying desperately to land a takedown but Jokuani is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kirkorov.

and Jokuani counters with a low kick, right behind Kirkorov 's knee.
Jokuani throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Kirkorov crashing down! Kirkorov tries to stagger back to his feet but Jokuani just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Kirkorov asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Jokuani!
