Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Demon Blood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dean Mccarry!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blood slips a jab from Mccarry.
Mccarry checks a leg kick.
Blood misses with a body shot.
Blood shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Blood throws a shot from downtown. Mccarry moves away and avoids it.
Blood throws a nice outside leg kick.
Blood throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mccarry.
Blood misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Blood swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A punch combination from Blood misses.
Blood swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Blood jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Blood moves into the clinch.
Blood goes for a takedown attempt but Mccarry pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Blood closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Mccarry throws the left hand but Blood avoids the punch easily.
An inside leg kick lands from Blood.
Blood misses with a head kick.
Demon Blood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mccarry moves out of range of the strikes.
Mccarry takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Blood slips under a jab from Mccarry.
Blood lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Blood is looking to slow Mccarry down with leg kicks.

Blood clinches up against the cage.
Mccarry slowing the pace effectively.
Mccarry lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Blood working aggressively here.

Mccarry throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Blood has closed the distance and engaged Mccarry in a clinch.

Mccarry's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Blood throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mccarry misses with a lunging right hand
and Blood counters with a straight right hand.
Blood shoots in and drives through. Mccarry sprawls well.
Mccarry looks to land a left hand but Blood moved out of range nicely.
Blood misses with a head kick.
Blood looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Blood throws a leg kick but Mccarry checks it.
Blood is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Mccarry lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Blood throws a leg kick but Mccarry checks it.
Blood takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Blood misses with a double jab
and Mccarry counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Blood feints and as Mccarry raises his hands in defense, Blood changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mccarry pulls Blood in close to prevent any damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mccarry bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Blood's guard.
Blood might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Blood trying to keep a closed guard but Mccarry is proving a slippery customer.
Blood utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Blood has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Mccarry is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Blood.

Mccarry controls the position.
Blood is trying to improve his position.
Blood tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Mccarry easily slips into full mount!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dean Mccarry dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Blood buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A head kick misses from Blood.

Blood clinches.
Blood looking for a takedown.
Blood tries to circle away but Mccarry has him pinned against the cage.
Mccarry tries to break the clinch but Blood is controlling the position.
Mccarry holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Mccarry tries to work over Blood's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Blood tries to pull guard but Mccarry won't allow it.
Mccarry content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Blood has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Mccarry after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Demon Blood. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Blood jumps guard.

Blood looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mccarry advances position into side control!

Blood being controlled for a moment.
Blood regains half guard.
Mccarry wants to pass the guard but Blood is defending well.
Mccarry content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Blood looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Mccarry is pressing down on Blood's thigh, looking to free his foot. Blood is holding on for now.
Blood is looking to control Mccarry's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Blood avoid being mounted?

Blood looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Still in half guard, Mccarry seems content to control.
Mccarry prevents Blood from standing back up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mccarry in particular looking to stall.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Blood regains full guard. Nicely done.

Blood is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Mccarry not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Blood is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Mccarry's corner is telling him to maintain position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dean Mccarry hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Mccarry moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Blood shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mccarry defends it nicely.
Mccarry throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Blood sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Mccarry jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Blood falls off balance throwing a combination
and Mccarry counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Blood takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Mccarry avoids the head kick by Blood.
Mccarry misses with a looping left.
Mccarry connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Blood momentarily.

Mccarry cracks Blood with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Blood looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mccarry finish him?


Blood is rocked!


It looks like Demon Blood has been cut.
Mccarry thuds a left hand into Blood's body.
Oh Blood is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Mccarry! Blood is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
