Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Tweedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Professor Chaos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tweedy's entrance music is Hard Act To Follow. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Professor Chaos !
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tweedy on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Chaos . Chaos obviously looking to wear him down.
Tweedy slaps away a takedown attempt from Chaos , before circling back to the center of the mat.
Tweedy defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Chaos .

Chaos dives in and grabs Tweedy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tweedy pushes down on Chaos 's head and hops out.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


No joy there for Tweedy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Professor Chaos has got the better of the ground game so far.
Chaos bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tweedy's guard.
Chaos looking to sit in guard and control but Tweedy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Tweedy throws a big right hand that misses.
Tweedy won't allow Chaos to sweep him here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Tweedy wants to slow Chaos down by chopping away at his legs.

Chaos has taken the fight to the clinch.
Chaos stalling.
Chaos has Tweedy pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Tweedy manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Chaos changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Tweedy fights it off and pushes away nicely.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tweedy shoots for a double leg takedown but Chaos sprawls well. He's pushed Tweedy's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tweedy bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Chaos buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Professor Chaos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Donk. Tweedy catches Chaos right on the button with a cross.
Chaos throws a push kick but Tweedy slaps the foot to one side.
Chaos displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tweedy throws out the jab.
Chaos shoots in for a takedown but Tweedy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ben Tweedy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chaos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tweedy tries to avoid it but Chaos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tweedy to the ground. Tweedy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Professor Chaos .
I've got Chaos winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
