The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvez ducks under a wild hook from Ograni.
Ograni shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Alvez takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Alvez is trying desperately to land a takedown but Ograni is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Alvez.
Ograni lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

and Ograni counters with a one-two to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Alvez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Ograni manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Alvez counters with a straight right hand.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Ograni counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Ograni bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Ograni lands with a straight right. Alvez didn't see that one coming.
Ograni displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Alvez.
