Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Fabricio Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khun Vee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabricio Rodrigues!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vee looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Vee shoots in looking for a takedown. Rodrigues tries to sprawl out of it but Vee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rodrigues manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rodrigues throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Vee decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rodrigues's guard.
Rodrigues is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Vee with a flurry of punches that miss.

Rodrigues uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Rodrigues tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vee was well out of range. Poor timing from Rodrigues.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vee shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rodrigues napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Rodrigues is trying to control Vee's posture but Vee avoids it.
Vee tries to move into full mount but can't pass Rodrigues's legs.

Vee grinds an elbow into Rodrigues's temple.
Vee has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Rodrigues tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Vee wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Rodrigues managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Vee.
Rodrigues manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Vee misses with a takedown attempt - Rodrigues sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Fabricio Rodrigues has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khun Vee.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Khun Vee has been cut.
Rodrigues misses with an uppercut
and Vee counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Rodrigues is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vee is controlling him.
Rodrigues knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vee on the ground.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Vee postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Vee shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Vee showed some decent athleticism there.
Rodrigues wants to get back to his feet.

Vee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rodrigues does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rodrigues is trying to get back to full guard.
Vee is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Vee stops Rodrigues from getting back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rodrigues keeps control of the position for the meantime.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khun Vee dominated that round.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Vee misses with a takedown attempt - Rodrigues sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Vee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rodrigues defends it nicely.
Rodrigues ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vee moves away.
Horrible takedown by Vee or perhaps it was just good defense by Rodrigues which made him look bad.

Rodrigues ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vee moves away.
Vee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Vee shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Vee is breathing heavily.

Rodrigues leaves Vee with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Rodrigues fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rodrigues jabs Vee to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Vee keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
No joy there for Rodrigues, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Vee shoots for a double leg takedown but Rodrigues sprawls well. He's pushed Vee's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Rodrigues lands a jab to the head.
Rodrigues scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Vee takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Rodrigues scores with a nice right hand.
Rodrigues is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Vee flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Vee is out cold! Rodrigues holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Fabricio Rodrigues bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
