Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Wentworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nash comes to the cage accompanied by Sorry your not a winner. The key to victory for John Nash has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Nash! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Josh Wentworth! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wentworth fails to land the takedown. Nash misses with a few strikes there.
Nash throws out a powerful jab. Wentworth shoots in and drives through. Nash sprawls well. Wentworth shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. John Nash has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Wentworth. Nash drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wentworth wants to control but Nash postures up. Wentworth looks gassed! Wentworth is not content to let Nash control the position. Wentworth tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Nash presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Nash looking to finish with strikes here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Wentworth tries to get back to half guard but can't. Wentworth tries to lock up and control but Nash gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Nash gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Wentworth shoots and misses and Nash decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wentworth's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nash stands and steps away. Wentworth gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Wentworth doesn't succeed with the takedown and Nash counters with a left and a right that stings Wentworth. Nice straight punches there by Nash. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Nash.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Nash pushes Wentworth up against the cage in a clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Nash is trying to break the clinch but Wentworth has him pressed against the cage. Wentworth tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Nash lands a body punch in the clinch. Nash breaks the clinch.
A jab from Nash does it's job there. Both fighters circling a little - Nash finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Nash is looking to clinch. Nash with a lazy takedown attempt and Wentworth counters with a shoot takedown. Nash fights it but they end up in guard. Wentworth wants to control from the top but Nash keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wentworth stands up from Nash's guard - Wentworth perhaps looking for a knockout. Nash is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nash moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Wentworth dodges the punch combination from Nash.
Nash throws a right and a left that both miss. John Nash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nash lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Nash tries to clinch up but Wentworth circles away and keeps his distance. Nash lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Nash closes the distance and lands a one-two. Wentworth is still on wobbly legs! Can Nash finish him?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nash will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wentworth seems to have recovered his senses. Wentworth has his takedown stuffed and Nash holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Wentworth has Nash pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Nash manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Wentworth is working for takedown but Nash is calmly controlling the position for now. Nash is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Nash wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Wentworth jumps guard but Nash stands there with Wentworth around his waist. Wentworth gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nash struggles to land a body shot inside as Wentworth controls his hands.

Nash wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wentworth has him pressed against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Nash dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Wentworth shoots in for a double leg but Nash sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Wentworth shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Nash defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Wentworth. Wentworth prevents Nash from getting the reversal. Wentworth takes Nash's back. Wentworth working for a choke but Nash reverses nicely into Wentworth 's guard. Wentworth not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nash trying to control the position from guard on top but Wentworth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wentworth trying to keep a closed guard but Nash is proving a slippery customer.
Nash tries to stand but Wentworth is controlling from the bottom. Nash stopping the sweep attempt from Wentworth. Nash drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wentworth dives on top into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Wentworth trying to control but Nash is working from the bottom. Wentworth tries to free his leg and advance position but Nash is retaining full guard. Nash can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Wentworth controls the pace. Nash is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wentworth is controlling him. Nash will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Wentworth stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nash swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wentworth pushing down on Nash's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Nash is looking to control Wentworth's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nash avoid being mounted? Nash is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wentworth's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wentworth's back! Nash is trying to stick to Wentworth's back but Wentworth is turning into Nash. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Nash's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Wentworth. Josh Wentworth has got the better of the ground game so far. Nash has a closed guard, preventing Wentworth from standing up. Nash keeping moving, preventing Wentworth from controlling successfully. Nash really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Josh Wentworth showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Nash feints and then cracks Wentworth's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wentworth down. John Nash is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nash looks for the body kick but Wentworth saw that one coming. Nash throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Nice shot lands for Nash. Nash gets the takedown into side control. Nash controlling the position. Nash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wentworth on the ground. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wentworth sneaks back into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Nash wants to get back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nash throws a combination that misses and Wentworth counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Wentworth wants to pass the guard but Nash is keeping the position. Wentworth slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wentworth is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nash is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Nash is looking for a sweep. Nash gets back to half guard. Nash wants to control but Wentworth is keeping busy and won't allow it. Nash tries to kick Wentworth off but Wentworth keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Wentworth is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Nash defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nash won't allow Wentworth to pass to mount. Wentworth is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Wentworth wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nash keeps working. Wentworth tries to stand but can't do so whilst Nash controls his leg.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Josh Wentworth. I think Wentworth has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
