Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lucas Roy! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James moves into the clinch successfully.
James comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Lucas Roy has been cut. James misses with a short punch on the inside. Roy is working for takedown but James is calmly controlling the position for now. James jumps guard and drags Roy to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Roy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. James has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Roy is working away from the top position though. Roy passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for James! Roy has control of James's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and James regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Pepper James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Roy keeps the fight on the outside. No luck with that takedown attempt from James. A looping hook to the body misses from Roy. James does a little dance to reset his feet. Roy jabs James to the body, keeping him at a distance. James rushes Roy and presses him up against the cage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Roy decides to pull guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Roy throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Roy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in James's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roy forces his way into half guard. James is looking to control Roy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can James avoid being mounted? Roy works his way into full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Roy moves to the back position. Roy is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! James is tapping out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Lucas Roy! Lucas Roy is the new middleweight champion!
