The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Sherman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Slobberknocker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Slobberknocker takes a swing at Sherman's ribcage but misses.
Sherman throws a leg kick but Slobberknocker sees it coming and moves out of range.
Sherman closes the distance and clinches.
Slobberknocker dodges an elbow strike from Sherman.
Slobberknocker tries to break free but Sherman pushes him back against the cage.
Slobberknocker looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Slobberknocker wants to break the clinch but can't.
Sherman lands a knee to the body.

It looks like Ric Slobberknocker has been cut.
Slobberknocker wants to get back to striking at distance but Sherman won't allow it.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sherman creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The cut above Ric Slobberknocker's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Sherman gets through Slobberknocker's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Sherman misses with a knee strike.
Slobberknocker takes an elbow to the temple.
Sherman's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Sherman lands an elbow just above Slobberknocker 's eye.
Ric Slobberknocker's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Sherman scores with an uppercut up the middle.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ric Slobberknocker's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
