Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Skinner Crowe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kane Klasky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Crowe might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Angry Johnny & The Killbillies - A Love More True. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Skinner Crowe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kane Klasky! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Klasky fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Crowe sprawls well initially but Klasky persists and gets the takedown into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Crowe keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Klasky throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crowe keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Crowe controlling the position well. Klasky prevents Crowe from improving his position. Klasky missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Crowe seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crowe might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Klasky scoring with punches to the head and body. Crowe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. That's two minutes gone in the round. Klasky is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Crowe is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Crowe has escaped and now he's on top! Klasky looking for a guillotine here but Crowe defends easily.

Klasky can't keep his opponent in guard - Crowe advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Crowe seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Crowe controlling the action here. Klasky on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Klasky misses with some strikes from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crowe is nestled in close to Klasky, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Crowe is stalling here. Klasky is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Crowe seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Klasky has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Crowe gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Klasky sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Crowe defending well though. Crowe is positioning himself well to prevent Klasky advancing to mount. Klasky is looking for a kimura but Crowe is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Klasky to get the leverage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Crowe gets full guard. Crowe bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Klasky's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crowe takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Skinner Crowe overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Klasky defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Crowe.

Klasky clinches. Klasky is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Crowe gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Klasky trying to control the position but instead, Crowe has worked for underhooks and has pushed Klasky into the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Crowe takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Klasky is trying to drag Crowe to the mat but Crowe just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Klasky tries to break free but Crowe pushes him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Klasky jumps guard but Crowe stands there with Klasky around his waist. Klasky gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Skinner Crowe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kane Klasky. Klasky wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

With the fighters up against the cage, Crowe throws an elbow but misses. Crowe creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Klasky is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Crowe pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Klasky is defending well for now. Klasky tries to pull guard but Crowe forces him back to his feet, against the cage. And that's the end of the fight! Skinner Crowe showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Crowe, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
