Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arek Rendziok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waclaw Panek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rendziok kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Do góry łeb!. Waclaw Panek has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Arek Rendziok! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Waclaw Panek! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rendziok shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Panek napping and manages to drive through into side control! Panek manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Rendziok drops an elbow to the side of Panek's head. Rendziok wants to pass the guard but Panek is defending well. Panek looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Panek has hold of Rendziok's hands but Rendziok slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Rendziok throwing shots but Panek is blocking nicely. Panek is pressing down on Rendziok's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Rendziok trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rendziok throwing strikes but missing. Panek is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rendziok is aware though and is defending well. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rendziok throws a big right hand that misses.

Rendziok wants to pass the guard but Panek is keeping the position. Rendziok passes Panek's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Panek tries to get to full guard but Rendziok has control of the leg. Panek is controlling Rendziok's position as best he can from this difficult position. Rendziok tries to pass the half guard into mount. Panek knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Rendziok sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Panek defending well though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Panek is looking to control Rendziok's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Panek avoid being mounted? Rendziok not landing any meaningful shots this time. Panek looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Panek moves into full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rendziok scoring with some ground and pound. Panek controls Rendziok momentarily but Rendziok frees himself. Rendziok is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rendziok connects with a couple of short punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Panek lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rendziok! Panek can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rendziok is looking to escape. Panek looking for a guillotine from mount but Rendziok is having none of it. That's four minutes gone in the round. Panek tries to control but Rendziok wriggling away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. You get the feeling that Rendziok really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Panek trying to control but he's not successful this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Panek is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Rendziok is surviving well by controlling Panek's body position as best he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Arek Rendziok will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Rendziok takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rendziok is looking to advance position but Panek won't allow it. Rendziok missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rendziok lands a nice short elbow. Rendziok trying to control from half guard but Panek is working away. Panek slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Rendziok has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Panek is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Rendziok controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Rendziok is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Panek manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rendziok manages to get himself to full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rendziok keeping moving, preventing Panek from controlling successfully. Panek might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rendziok kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Rendziok is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Panek is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rendziok gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Arek Rendziok has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Waclaw Panek. Panek wants a takedown.
Rendziok works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Rendziok connects with a couple of short punches. Panek is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rendziok's corner is telling him to maintain position. Panek utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Rendziok sitting in guard, not really doing much. Rendziok postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Panek fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rendziok manages to avoid it. Rendziok fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Waclaw Panek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rendziok darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Panek wants to get back to full guard. Panek blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rendziok. Panek trying to control here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Panek is looking to control Rendziok's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Panek avoid being mounted? Panek is concentrating on defense, preventing Rendziok from advancing position. Rendziok scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Panek regains full guard. Nicely done. Panek preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Panek has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rendziok can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Rendziok trying to control the position from guard on top but Panek is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rendziok landing some decent shots from guard. Panek avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Rendziok is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Panek looking for a sweep. Not yet Panek, not yet. Rendziok slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rendziok pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Panek is keeping the position for now. Rendziok wants to control from the top but Panek keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Arek Rendziok. Rendziok swats away the attempt to clinch by Panek. Rendziok shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Panek pinned against the cage. Panek gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Panek throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rendziok closes this distance looking for a takedown but Panek circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arek Rendziok. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Panek has a takedown stuffed. Panek fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Panek swings and misses with a hook to the body.

And that's the end of the fight! Arek Rendziok showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rendziok, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
