Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between James Jaffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dong Ming Pak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaffer comes into the arena with DubRaider- Starry Eyes blaring out of the sound system. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dong Ming Pak was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaffer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Pak missing with a left hand there. Jaffer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Pak chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Jaffer can pounce on him.
Pak tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jaffer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pak somewhat.
Pak throws a shot from downtown. Jaffer moves away and avoids it.
A swing and a miss from Jaffer.
Jaffer darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Pak is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jaffer.
Jaffer tries to clinch but Pak is having none of it.
Jaffer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Jaffer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pak.
Jaffer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pak manages to avoid it.

Jaffer cracks Pak with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pak is bucking up trying to escape but Jaffer cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pak tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up. James Jaffer wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Jaffer looks to score with a jab to the body but Pak is just out of range.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jaffer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pak lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jaffer circles away quickly and effectively.
Nice defenses there by Jaffer.

Pak moves out of range of the leg kick from Jaffer.
Pak uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jaffer.
Jaffer does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jaffer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pak was well out of range. Poor timing from Jaffer.

Jaffer is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Jaffer lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Pak backwards.
Pak misses with a punch to the body.
Jaffer putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Pak in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Pak turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Pak manages to end up in side control.
