Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lay Pray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnie McDougle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pray comes to the cage accompanied by Don't Fear the Reaper- Blue Oyster Cult. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lay Pray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Arnie McDougle!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDougle dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pray is defended easily by McDougle.
Pray on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
McDougle throws a head kick that misses.
McDougle looks to land a combination. Pray sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.


It looks like Lay Pray has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McDougle throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McDougle connects with a leg kick. Pray looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Pray changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McDougle tries to avoid it but Pray manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McDougle to the ground. McDougle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from McDougle. No joy for Pray on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lay Pray. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pray is breathing heavily.
McDougle throws a sloppy head kick and Pray moves out of range easily.
Pray looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A jab lands there for McDougle.
A head kick misses from McDougle.

and McDougle counters with a crisp one two that drops Pray! McDougle thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Pray to his feet! Pray is in big trouble!


Pray is rocked!
A head kick by McDougle - that's a beauty! Pray is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even McDougle can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Arnie McDougle!
Arnie McDougle decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
