Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Landry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daryl Schillaci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schillaci has chosen War Machine By Kiss as his entrance music. Daryl Schillaci is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jake Landry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Daryl Schillaci! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Landry displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Schillaci. Landry shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Daryl Schillaci seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schillaci closes the distance and clinches up with Landry, looking for a takedown. Schillaci pushes Landry against the cage but Landry circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Schillaci shoots and misses and Landry counters with a flying knee. Nice. Jake Landry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daryl Schillaci. Landry closes the distance and clinches. Landry is trying to pull guard but Schillaci turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Landry wants to break free but Schillaci has control.

Landry breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Schillaci manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Landry on his heels. He'll look to pass Landry's guard now, I'm sure. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Landry is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Schillaci trying to control the position from guard on top but Landry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That's one minute gone in the round. Schillaci postures up in Landry's guard and throws a big left but Landry blocks it. Landry bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Schillaci's guard. Landry wants to stand and escape but instead Schillaci has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Schillaci cracks Landry with a solid left hand. Schillaci throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Landry works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Schillaci wants to control from the top but Landry keeps moving. Landry is breathing heavily. Schillaci works over Landry with some ground and pound from guard. Landry has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Schillaci has passed into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Schillaci is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Landry is trying to escape and Schillaci transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Landry is forced to tap! Nice work there by Schillaci! Very nice indeed!
