Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Styles changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Prayin tries to avoid it but Styles manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Prayin to the ground. Prayin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Styles misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Styles shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Prayin counters by clinching up.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darrius Styles. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Prayin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Styles tries to score a power double leg takedown but Prayin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Styles somewhat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Prayin enables Styles to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Prayin manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Styles is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Prayin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Styles. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Prayin is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Styles asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Styles looks up at the clock and then as Prayin takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Styles smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Styles has an Americana. Prayin didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Styles is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Styles hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
