Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jett Blood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Richmond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blood comes to the cage accompanied by Down With The Sikness. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jett Blood! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Richmond! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A good leg kick by Richmond. Richmond scores a takedown into full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blood is looking to get to half guard. Richmond is looking to stand but Richmond has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Blood tries to reverse the position but Richmond maintains control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Richmond looking to control but Blood is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Blood is breathing heavily. Richmond controlling the position easily from mount. Poor strikes thrown by Richmond there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Blood throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Richmond must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Blood is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Blood winds up and cracks Richmond with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
