Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bricks Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Stroud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stroud has chosen Vallenfyre - Iconoclast as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stroud paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Stroud connects with the punch.
Tyler looks to land a body kick but Stroud moved away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Stroud throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Tyler misses with a low kick.
Stroud tests Tyler's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Tyler tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Stroud misses with a two punch combination.
Tyler shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stroud's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tyler is fighting to break Stroud's control of his arms but Stroud is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Tyler is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Stroud is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Stroud has escaped and now he's on top!

Tyler controls Stroud momentarily but Stroud frees himself.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stroud accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Stroud scores with a body shot.
Stroud misses with a double jab.
Tyler rushes Stroud and presses him up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tyler misses with a hook from the clinch.
Stroud turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Stroud manages to end up in side control.
The ground and pound from Stroud seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
