Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Man Ape (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Snake Plisken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Man Ape! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Snake Plisken! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plisken shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ape's guard. Plisken trying to control the position from guard on top but Ape is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ape is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Plisken throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ape works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Plisken trying to control the position from guard on top but Ape is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Plisken postures up in Ape's guard and throws a big left but Ape blocks it. Plisken has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Plisken trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Plisken throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Plisken tries to free his leg and advance position but Ape is retaining full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Plisken slips a jab and a cross from Ape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ape misses with a wild combination.
Plisken drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Plisken prevents Ape from getting back to his feet. Plisken trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Plisken is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Plisken works over Ape with some ground and pound from guard. Plisken is looking to work some ground and pound but Ape has wrist control. Plisken in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Ape knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Plisken on the ground. Plisken trying to control the position from guard on top but Ape is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ape is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Plisken is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Plisken ducks under a wild hook from Ape. Plisken closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Ape is breathing heavily. Plisken throwing shots but missing, from side control. Plisken working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Plisken scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Ape to see if he's OK. Plisken in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Plisken misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Plisken scoring with punches from side control. Plisken cracks Ape with an elbow. That is naaassty. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Plisken landing strikes. Plisken throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Plisken in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Ape on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ape tries to get out of the position. Ape defending against the ground and pound. Plisken throws a strike aimed at the side of Ape's head but Ape avoids it well. Plisken misses with the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ape takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Plisken working the ground and pound from side control. Plisken landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Plisken throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Plisken is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ape is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Plisken works to advance to full mount. Ape defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Ape avoids a series of strikes thrown by Plisken.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Snake Plisken dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nice shot lands for Ape.
It looks like Snake Plisken has been cut. Plisken will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ape connects with a stiff jab that staggers Plisken - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Man Ape!
