Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thierry Henry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Henry's choice of entrance music: Shoot To Thrill. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jan Kowalski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Thierry Henry!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry throws a hook but Kowalski blocks it.
Henry swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kowalski counters with a three punch combo that has Henry backing up. Henry nods at Kowalski to acknowledge the strikes.
Henry staying out of range there.
Henry wants to clinch up but Kowalski keeps it at a distance.
Kowalski misses with a kick to the body.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Henry doesn't manage to clinch there - Kowalski circles away.
Henry avoids the body shot from Kowalski.
Henry tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kowalski paws at him with a jab and circles away.

A head kick from Henry lands but Kowalski takes it in his stride.
Henry bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

so Henry counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Henry won't allow Kowalski to get back to his feet.
Henry with a flurry of punches that miss.
Henry throws a strike but Kowalski rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Kowalski decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Henry moves in looking to clinch but Kowalski pushes him off.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kowalski. Henry does a little dance to reset his feet.
Henry thumps Kowalski with a low kick.
Henry throws a right hand that misses
and Kowalski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kowalski connects with a body shot that sends Henry's belly button to the back.
Henry blocks the body kick.
Kowalski cracks Henry with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
A combination from Henry does no damage.

Henry avoids the head kick by Kowalski.

Henry scores with a three punch combo!
Kowalski throws a head kick but Henry moves out of range.
Henry stuffs the takedown attempt from Kowalski. Kowalski gets slowly back to his feet.
Henry tries to bum rush Kowalski with a series of wild strikes but Kowalski uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Kowalski counters with a nice body shot.
Henry swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kowalski looks to land a combination. Henry sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kowalski throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kowalski lands a nice shot that snaps Henry's head back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kowalski shoots in looking for a takedown but Henry manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kowalski's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Henry throws a combination. Kowalski tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Horrible takedown by Henry or perhaps it was just good defense by Kowalski which made him look bad.

Henry throws a solid leg kick but Kowalski takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Henry.

and Kowalski counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Kowalski cracks Henry with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

and Kowalski counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

A looping hook to the body misses from Kowalski. Henry does a little dance to reset his feet.
Henry swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Thierry Henry showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kowalski tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kowalski does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Henry wants to clinch up but Kowalski keeps it at a distance.

Henry throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kowalski tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Henry is in Kowalski's guard.

Henry closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kowalski did well to prevent Henry getting side control.

Kowalski has hold of Henry's hands but Henry slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Henry working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Henry scores with a big shot! Kowalski's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Kowalski! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Thierry Henry!
A very excited looking Thierry Henry rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
