Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jessie De Gek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Onnixx Guftasson! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Gek shoots for a takedown but Guftasson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Guftasson misses with a series of wild punches.
De Gek gets the takedown into side control. De Gek tries to advance to mount but Guftasson denies him. Guftasson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with De Gek. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. De Gek works to advance to full mount. Guftasson defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. De Gek tries to control but Guftasson wriggling away. De Gek looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. De Gek can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Guftasson is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Gek looking to control and managing it successfully. Guftasson is wriggling around trying to escape.
Guftasson is squirming around, avoiding De Gek's attempts to control the action. Guftasson wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
De Gek wants to control the pace but Guftasson is squirming around nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guftasson is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
De Gek goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Guftasson is on top in guard.
De Gek looking for a guillotine here but Guftasson defends easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guftasson stands and steps away. De Gek gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Onnixx Guftasson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Guftasson throws a head kick but De Gek moves out of range.

Guftasson lands a big head kick that sends De Gek tumbling to the mat! Guftasson takes a step backwards and waves De Gek back to his feet - he wants the finish! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. and Guftasson counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts De Gek! He's just covering up as Guftasson starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Onnixx Guftasson!
