Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tihik Avramov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amadeu Nicanor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tihik Avramov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Amadeu Nicanor! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nicanor looks to land a combination but Avramov avoids it well. Nicanor fails to land with a series of punches.
Avramov has taken the fight to the clinch.
Avramov lands a takedown into guard.
Avramov is stalling in the full guard. Avramov trying to control but Nicanor is working from the bottom. Avramov wants to stand and escape but instead Nicanor has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nicanor gets to his feet. Avramov looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Nicanor throws a right hand that Avramov ducks under and follows up with a left that Avramov also avoids with ease. Nicanor tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Avramov swivels and escapes. Avramov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Avramov trying to control the position from guard on top but Nicanor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Avramov looking to sit in guard and control but Nicanor gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Avramov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Avramov missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Nicanor is trying to stand up here but Avramov is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Avramov escapes and gets back to his feet. Nicanor fails in his attempt to clinch. Avramov fails with the takedown. Nicanor throws a right and a left that both miss. Nicanor connects with a single shot there. Avramov tries to clinch up but Nicanor circles away and keeps his distance. A left and a right from Nicanor both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Tihik Avramov has been cut. Avramov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nicanor to the mat! Nicanor manages to get full guard. Nicanor wants to get back to his feet but Avramov is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Avramov working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Avramov has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Avramov is stalling in the full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Tihik Avramov just wasn't active enough. Nicanor shoots in but Avramov avoids the takedown attempt easily. Avramov closes the distance and clinches. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Avramov is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Nicanor gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Avramov jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nicanor walks away with a smile on his face. Avramov gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tihik Avramov dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tihik Avramov's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nicanor. Nicanor throws a right hand that Avramov ducks under and follows up with a left that Avramov also avoids with ease. Avramov dodges the punch combination from Nicanor.
Avramov drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Avramov wants to control for a moment but Nicanor uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Nicanor is staying active underneath Avramov, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Avramov controlling the action here. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Nicanor is trying to stand.
We're going to have a standup here because Tihik Avramov wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Nicanor throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Amadeu Nicanor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nicanor closes this distance looking for a takedown but Avramov circles away. Avramov showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nicanor.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nicanor misses with a few strikes there.
Nicanor is breathing heavily. Nicanor throws a right and a left that both miss. Nicanor fails in his attempt to clinch. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Nicanor. A momentary lapse in concentration from Nicanor enables Avramov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nicanor manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Nicanor keeping moving, preventing Avramov from controlling successfully. Avramov wants to pass the guard but Nicanor is keeping the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Tihik Avramov wasn't doing enough on the ground. Nicanor tries to close the distance and clinch but Avramov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Avramov fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Avramov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Nicanor manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Avramov tries to free his leg and advance position but Nicanor is retaining full guard. Avramov decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Avramov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nicanor lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Avramov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nicanor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Avramov stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fight stays on the outside here - Nicanor looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Avramov darts in and clinches Nicanor up against the cage. Avramov keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Nicanor's efforts to push away. Avramov tries for a takedown. No joy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Avramov turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Avramov manages to end up in side control. Avramov goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Nicanor has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Avramov but great work by Nicanor. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tihik Avramov dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Tihik Avramov's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Nicanor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nicanor looks to land a combination but Avramov avoids it well. Nicanor scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Nicanor tries to bum rush Avramov with a series of wild strikes but Avramov uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nicanor falls off balance throwing a combination
and Avramov counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Well, if Avramov is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Nicanor takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Avramov decides to pull guard. Avramov is trying to control the position but Nicanor postures up. Avramov is looking to stand back up but Nicanor counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Avramov. Avramov kicks off Nicanor and gets to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nicanor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Avramov tries to avoid it but Nicanor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Avramov to the ground. Avramov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Avramov swats away the attempt to clinch by Nicanor. Nicanor shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Avramov defends it nicely. No luck with that takedown attempt from Nicanor. Tihik Avramov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amadeu Nicanor. Avramov tries to clinch there but Nicanor circles away.

Nicanor lands an overhand right. Avramov slips a jab and a cross from Nicanor.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Avramov shoots in and bounces Nicanor off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Avramov stands up from guard. Let's bang! Avramov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nicanor pinned against the cage. Nicanor gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Avramov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nicanor fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Avramov avoids it really well and circles away. Avramov keeps the fight on the outside.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Avramov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Avramov controlling from the top position.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Avramov closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Nicanor did well to prevent Avramov getting side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Avramov wants to control but Nicanor is keeping him busy. Amadeu Nicanor has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tihik Avramov is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Nicanor looking for submissions off his back.
And that's the end of the fight! Tihik Avramov showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Avramov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
