Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Troy Pollard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Troy Pollard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Cole! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cole tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Pollard gets in close and instigates a clinch. Cole missing with knees to the body.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Pollard. Pollard escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sloppy strikes from Cole. Those never looked like landing. Pollard throws a lazy head kick and Cole counters by clinching up. Pollard breaks from the clinch.
Cole leaves Pollard with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Cole misses with a double jab.
Cole tries to close the distance and clinch but Pollard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pollard is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Cole. Cole tries to clinch there but Pollard circles away.
Pollard throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Pollard fails with a takedown attempt. Cole moves in looking to clinch but Pollard pushes him off.

Cole tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pollard paws at him with a jab and circles away. Cole displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Cole looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Cole is defending well against a takedown attempt. Pollard breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cole is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pollard fails with a takedown attempt. Pollard is breathing heavily. Cole misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pollard.

Pollard dives in and scores a takedown into Cole's guard. Cole preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Pollard throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Pollard sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cole's guard. Pollard is looking to stall here but Cole recovers full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pollard trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Pollard throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pollard is looking to work some ground and pound but Cole has wrist control. Pollard passes Cole's left leg - he's now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Troy Pollard will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Pollard shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cole as he jumps to the side. Cole misses with a jab, cross combination.

Pollard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cole sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pollard somewhat. Pollard looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Michael Cole seems to be getting the better of the standup. Cole stuffs the takedown. Cole moves in looking to clinch but Pollard pushes him off. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The fight stays on the outside here - Cole looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Cole tries to clinch but Pollard moves out of range. Pollard fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Cole fails in his attempt to clinch.

Michael Cole showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Cole stalks Pollard and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Pollard's face. Pollard staggers backwards, shaken. Cole blocks a leg kick. Cole tries to keep at a distance but Pollard has taken the fight into the clinch. Pollard fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Cole swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Pollard. Cole is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pollard tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Cole moves in looking to clinch but Pollard pushes him off. Pollard gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Pollard has Cole pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Cole manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Pollard drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cole gets the underhooks and prevents it.
