Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terry Sharkey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marvin Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Terry Sharkey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marvin Green!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Steve Montenegro and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharkey shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Green tries to clinch there but Sharkey circles away.
Sharkey fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Green avoids it really well and circles away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sharkey.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Terry Sharkey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sharkey throws a hook but Green avoids it easily.
Green tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sharkey swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sharkey shoots in looking for a takedown. Green tries to sprawl out of it but Sharkey keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Green manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sharkey shoots for a double leg takedown but Green sprawls well. He's pushed Sharkey's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Green misses with a takedown attempt - Sharkey sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Green changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sharkey tries to avoid it but Green manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sharkey to the ground. Sharkey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sharkey jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Green tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sharkey swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Green defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sharkey.
Sharkey could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Green throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
No luck for Sharkey with that takedown attempt.
Sharkey stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sharkey wants it to stay on the feet.
Green shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sharkey as he jumps to the side.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Green holds on and takes a little breather.

Sharkey goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Green has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Sharkey but great work by Green.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sharkey is on top in guard.
