Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Ribeiro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ribeiro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jackson scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Ribeiro shoots in for a double leg but Jackson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnnie Jackson dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Jackson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jackson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Ribeiro drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Ribeiro seems to have locked his on tight now - Jackson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Ribeiro, as he picks up the win!
