Hanson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eminem-Stay Wide Awake. Bear Pool has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pool gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hanson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Pool tries to roll over but Hanson keeps him under control.
Pool trying to hold on to Hanson's head to control him but Hanson postures up.
Hanson prevents Pool from improving his position.
Hanson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Hanson trying to pass the guard but Pool defending well.
Pool wants to get back to full guard but Hanson has mounted him!

Hanson is trying to stick to Pool's back but Pool is turning into Hanson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hanson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Pool.
Hanson looking for a triangle here. Pool is fighting it but it looks tight! Hanson pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Pool is tapping out - this one is all over!

Johannes Hanson decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
