Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johan Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Slystarr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machado comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johan Machado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Slystarr!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Machado avoids the body shot from Slystarr.
Machado doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Machado takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Johan Machado has been cut.
Machado looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Slystarr is fending him off so far but Machado persists. Nope, Slystarr circles away and we're back to standing.
Machado misses with a takedown attempt
and Slystarr makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johan Machado. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slystarr jabbing away but nothing is landing.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Machado.
Slystarr moves into the clinch.
A short right from Slystarr.
Slystarr misses with a knee strike.
Slystarr using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Machado has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Slystarr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Machado takes one on the button.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Machado avoids the body shot from Slystarr.
Slystarr throws the left hand but Machado avoids the punch easily.
A telegraphed right hand from Slystarr misses the target.
Johan Machado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slystarr connects with a good right hand that stumbles Machado. Machado circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Machado doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Slystarr counters with a nice uppercut.
Slystarr throws a hook to the side of Machado's head but Machado sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Slystarr misses with a hook
and Machado counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Machado drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Machado seems to have locked his on tight now - Slystarr screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Machado, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Johan Machado!
Our winner, Johan Machado, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
