Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hans Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Apollo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edgar's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eminem - Go To Sleep. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apollo misses with a looping right.

and Edgar counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Ryan Apollo has been cut.
Edgar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Apollo moves away.
Apollo throws a wild body kick that Edgar sees coming a mile off.
Apollo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Ryan Apollo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Edgar lands a nice uppercut.
Edgar swings wildly with an uppercut but Apollo uses good head movement to avoid it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Edgar.

Edgar's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Apollo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Apollo doesn't manage to clinch there - Edgar circles away.
Edgar missing with a left hand there. Apollo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hans Edgar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The fighters circle momentarily. Apollo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A bone on bone clash there as Apollo blocks the leg kick.

Edgar leaves Apollo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Edgar scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Edgar counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Apollo has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
