The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray clinches with his opponent.
Ray can't find room to land a body shot as Russell controls the action.
Ray takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Jayden Ray has been cut.
Russell is trying to stall.
Ray throws an elbow that misses.

Ray ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Russell moves away.

Ray goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Russell thuds a left hand into Ray's body.
Ray's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Russell connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ray scrambles back to his feet.
That has opened up Jayden Ray's cut even more.

and Russell counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
