Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Orville Redenbacher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ignatius Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redenbacher comes to the cage accompanied by Danger Zone. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Orville Redenbacher!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ignatius Reilly!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reilly is looking to slow Redenbacher down with leg kicks.
Reilly explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Reilly takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.


It looks like Ignatius Reilly has been cut.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Redenbacher.
Reilly on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Redenbacher scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Redenbacher throws a hook to the side of Reilly's head but Reilly sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Redenbacher throws a jab when Reilly was well out of range.
Redenbacher throws an overhand right that lands on Reilly's shoulder, as Reilly tries to avoid the shot.
Reilly tries to clinch but Redenbacher is having none of it.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Reilly.
Nice defenses there by Redenbacher.
Redenbacher throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reilly scores with a crisp jab that stopped Redenbacher in his tracks.
Reilly closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Reilly thows a body shot but no joy.
Redenbacher misses with a straight right.
Reilly lands with a thumping leg kick.
Redenbacher works the jab nicely.
Redenbacher takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Redenbacher thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Reilly if he has to take too many more of those.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A big left from Reilly misses.
Reilly throws a nice outside leg kick.
Reilly lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Reilly lands with a thumping leg kick.
Redenbacher misses with a leg kick
and Reilly counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Reilly connects with an inside leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Reilly looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Reilly lands with an overhand left.


It looks like Orville Redenbacher has been cut.
Reilly lands a nice leg kick that just misses Redenbacher's sensitive parts.
Redenbacher throws a quick inside leg kick.
Redenbacher with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Redenbacher scores with a jab. Reilly acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Reilly dodges the punch combination from Redenbacher.
Redenbacher connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.


That has opened up Ignatius Reilly's cut even more.
Reilly throws an off balance right hand
and Reilly takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Redenbacher avoids the head kick by Reilly.
Reilly scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Reilly shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Reilly takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.


The cut above Ignatius Reilly's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Reilly looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Redenbacher throws a body punch but Reilly moves out of range.
Good leg kick by Reilly there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Redenbacher darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Some wild striking there from Redenbacher.
Redenbacher checks a leg kick nicely.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Reilly.
Redenbacher misses with a hook. Reilly ducked under it nicely.

Reilly has Redenbacher up against the cage in a clinch.
Reilly using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Redenbacher has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Redenbacher misses with a hook to the ribs.
Reilly lands a knee to the head.
Reilly misses with a knee strike.
Redenbacher gets through Reilly's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ignatius Reilly will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Back to the action!


Redenbacher cracks the inside of Reilly's front leg.
Reilly misses with a straight left.
Redenbacher takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Decent striking displayed by Redenbacher there.
Reilly cracks Redenbacher with a good jab.
Redenbacher slips under a jab.
Reilly throws a low kick but Redenbacher moves out of range easily.
Jab, jab by Redenbacher - just one landing.


Ignatius Reilly's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reilly waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Redenbacher.
Reilly seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Redenbacher shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Reilly is backing up but Redenbacher catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Reilly covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Redenbacher Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Orville Redenbacher!
Orville Redenbacher retains his light heavyweight title!
An out of breath Orville Redenbacher thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
