Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Trout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rasputin's entrance music is TURISAS - Rasputin. A fine choice. Kevin Trout acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Trout! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rasputin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Trout looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Rasputin wants to control from the top but Trout keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rasputin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Trout is working an open guard so Rasputin takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Rasputin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Trout moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Trout gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rasputin to score an easy takedown into full guard. Rasputin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rasputin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rasputin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rasputin gets to his feet - Trout follows without any prompting. Rasputin fakes the leg kick and cracks Trout in the body. Rasputin drops Trout with a beautiful combination! Trout stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rasputin is looking for the KO!
It looks like Kevin Trout has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rasputin is looking to slow Trout down with leg kicks. Kevin Trout seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Trout gets tackled into the cage by Rasputin. Rasputin maintains the clinch. Rasputin slowing the pace effectively. Trout drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rasputin gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Rasputin drops down looking for an ankle pick but Trout pulls his leg out and moves away.
Trout backs away from a small jab... but Rasputin lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Trout crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Rasputin with a spectacular finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin! Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin managed to slip a mention for his sponsors, Das Labor, into his post fight interview.
