Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dele Obasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dele Obasi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Jones! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Obasi keeps the fight on the outside. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by Obasi. Jones lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Obasi. Jones looks to clinch and Obasi counters with a takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Obasi scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Jones to see if he's OK. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Jones is trying to buck Obasi off. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Jones takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
That's one minute gone in the round. Obasi is working Jones over with some ground and pound from side control. Obasi working away. Jones is trying to improve his position. Obasi in side control, just content to control the action for now. Jones tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Obasi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Obasi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jones is trying to work for a sweep but Obasi has mounted him! Jones is trying desperately to improve position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Obasi landing shots from mount. Jones working to try and regain half guard.
Obasi looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Obasi landing strikes from the mount and Jones is in trouble! Obasi won't let Jones get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Jones is trying to escape the mount.
Obasi looking to finish Jones with some ground and pound. This is bad for Jones! Jones is trying desperately to improve position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Obasi controlling from the full mount. Jones is in a horrible position here. Obasi smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Jones is rocked! Obasi postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Jones in real trouble here! The ref calls for Jones to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dele Obasi!
