Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Morrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sanek Karelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanek Karelin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrow tries to clinch up but Karelin circles away and keeps his distance.
Morrow ducks under a wild hook from Karelin.
Morrow scores with a one two! Karelin had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Morrow pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Karelin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Karelin tries to pass the half guard into mount. Morrow knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Morrow makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Morrow.

Morrow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Morrow is on top in guard.

Karelin has Morrow pulled in close to control his posture.
We're going to have a standup here because Jackson Morrow wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Morrow stuffs the takedown.
Karelin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Karelin looks gassed!

The fighters are battling for position here. Morrow manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Morrow wants to stand but Karelin is controlling the position.
Karelin throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Morrow is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Karelin frees his head nicely. Oh but Morrow has switched to an armbar! Karelin is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
