Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cyrus II (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Randalman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Randalman is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Let it Rock. Richard Randalman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cyrus II! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Richard Randalman! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! II scores with a slapping inside leg kick. II lands a head kick. Randalman smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Randalman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has II pinned against the cage. II gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. II buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Randalman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but II manages to avoid it. II tries to clinch but Randalman moves out of range. II scoring well with a low kick there.
II dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Randalman. That did some damage! II throws a leg kick which misses Randalman's front leg but catches the back leg as Randalman tries to avoid it. II lands a high kick!
Randalman misses the shot to the body. Randalman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. II manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. II is looking for a sweep. Randalman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. II blocking the ground and pound attempt from Randalman. II is looking to control Randalman's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can II avoid being mounted? Ground and pound from Randalman. II wants to get back to his feet.
II works his way to full guard. Good work. II lands with a heel strike from the guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Randalman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Randalman postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Randalman looks gassed! II pushes Randalman off and gets back to his feet.
II connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Nice sprawl there from II as Randalman shoots in. A solid leg kick lands there for II.
II thuds a left hand into Randalman's body. A right-left combo lands from II. Randalman misses with a takedown attempt - II sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Cyrus II has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard Randalman. A good leg kick by II. Randalman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming II to the mat! II manages to get full guard. II wriggles free and stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Randalman looks for a takedown but II sprawls well. Randalman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Randalman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Randalman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but II paws at him with a jab and circles away. Randalman has a takedown stuffed. Randalman shoots in but II avoids the takedown attempt easily. II cracks the inside of Randalman's front leg. II pushes Randalman away with a front kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A left and a right from II both land. Nice combination. II scores with a leg kick.
II will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Randalman's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Randalman shoots in looking for a takedown. II tries to sprawl out of it but Randalman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. II manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A nice inside leg kick there by II. That's going to slow Randalman down. Randalman tries for a takedown but II sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Randalman misses with a combination
and II counters with a good low kick that Randalman was not able to check. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. II throws a nice head kick!
A solid leg kick lands there for II.
Randalman shoots and misses and II makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Randalman really felt that one! II lands with a thumping leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cyrus II dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
II digs a good hook to Randalman's body.
II wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. II connects with a solid leg kick. II moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Randalman doesn't succeed with the takedown and II makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. II scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Cyrus II is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. II is looking to slow Randalman down with leg kicks. Randalman takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
II really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Randalman with a lazy takedown attempt and II counters with a nice leg kick. Randalman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. A nice elbow there by Randalman. II really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Randalman cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. II is looking to improve his position but Randalman isn't that keen on the idea. Randalman avoids the attempt from II to control. II is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Randalman. Randalman lands a heavy elbow. II tries to lock up and control but Randalman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Randalman lands a nice shot to the head. II really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Randalman landing punches. Randalman throws a wild left hand from mount and II manages to wriggle his way back to half guard. Randalman is tying to control. II wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
II avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Randalman. II is looking to escape. Randalman working over II with some ground and pound. II looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Randalman looks to land a strike but II avoids it nicely and regains full guard. II pushes Randalman off and gets back to his feet.

II moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Randalman walks into a stiff left hand from II. Randalman is on the wrong end of a nice combination from II. Richard Randalman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Randalman takes a head kick and keeps coming.
II clinches. II escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

II cracks the inside of Randalman's front leg. II moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Randalman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. II feints and then cracks Randalman's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Randalman down. Randalman with a poor takedown and II counters with an inside leg kick. A nice inside leg kick there by II. That's going to slow Randalman down.
That's one minute gone in the round. II wants to clinch. II connects with the punch. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by II.
Nice straight punches there by II. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of II. An inside leg kick lands from II. Randalman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Randalman showed some decent athleticism there. II is refusing to be controlled, as Randalman sits in half guard. Richard Randalman has got the better of the ground game so far. II wants to improve his position but Randalman is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. II is working hard here to advance position. II trying to control but Randalman postures up.
Randalman wants to take a breather but II is having none of it. Randalman looks to land a strike but II avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Randalman won't allow II to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Randalman lands a couple of decent looking shots. II utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. II avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Randalman loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Randalman looking to sit in guard and control but II gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Randalman looking for a sweep. Not yet Randalman, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. II wants to control from the top but Randalman keeps moving. II advances position into side control! Randalman tries to buck II off but II is having none of it. Randalman struggling a bit here. Randalman is looking to reverse the position. Richard Randalman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! II will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Randalman is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Cyrus II showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for II, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
