Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Allen Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam London! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones fails with the takedown. Jones drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Jones is looking to stand up but London won't let him. Jones postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! London is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jones, into his guard. Jones working a defensive guard here.
London wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. London looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Adam London hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Jones gets a takedown into half guard. London is trying to control but can't.
London is looking to get back to full guard here but Jones has managed to pass to side control instead. You can see the frustration on London's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. London gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. London is controlling Jones's trapped leg to prevent Jones from advancing to side control. Let's hope that London has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones trying to work for an americana but London has managed to regain full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. London wants to stand but Jones is controlling the position. Jones trying to control but London is working from the bottom. London throws a nice elbow from the bottom. London not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. London is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. London wants to take the fight to the mat but Jones manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. London goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jones prevents it.

London passes Jones's left leg - he's now in half guard. London is trying to control the action in half guard but Jones is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones is trying to stand back up but London is controlling him
Jones is trying to maintain the position but London is very close to passing his half guard. Jones is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! London is trying to control the action in half guard but Jones is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Adam London will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
London on the wrong end of a nice jab. London fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
London will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jones lands a head kick!
London tries to clinch up. London gets caught flat footed, as Jones shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. London wants to control but Jones passes easily into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. London is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. London wants to get back to his feet.
Jones is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, London has managed to free his arm - good work. London regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's two minutes gone in the round. London wants to stand and escape but Jones is having none of it. London trying to keep a closed guard but Jones is proving a slippery customer.
London looking for a sweep. Not yet London, not yet. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Jones decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on London, up you get! London shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Jones trying to keep a closed guard but London is proving a slippery customer.
Jones is looking for a triangle here but London uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
London is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Jones will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. London trying to control the position but Jones is working away. London creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. London stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. London pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. London moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off. London clinches. London tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jones smiles and moves away.
London fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Allen Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adam London. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. London tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it. London fails with the takedown and Jones counters with a shoot takedown. London fights it but they end up in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Adam London will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
London fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jones to the ground. London is now in Jones's guard. Jones is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. London got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, London has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted. London must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. London controls from within his opponent's guard. London passes Jones's left leg - he's now in half guard. London is trying to control. Jones wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. London drops an elbow to the side of Jones's head. Jones actively working from the bottom here. London controlling the pace. London's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Adam London has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. London instigates a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. London is trying to break the clinch but Jones is controlling him. Jones jumps guard and drags London to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. London trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Adam London has got the better of the ground game so far. London slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Jones sneaks back into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones taking some punishment here, with London in his half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones looking for submissions from an awkward position here. London takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is trying to get back to full guard. London seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with London in particular looking to stall. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. London connects with a nice short shot to Jones's temple. London decides to stand up. The fight moves into the clinch position. London trying to stall but Jones improves his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. London doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Jones is working for takedown but London is calmly controlling the position for now. London is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. London wants to break the clinch but can't.
London tries to break free but Jones pushes him back against the cage. Jones manages to break the clinch.
London shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. London tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Jones counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in London's guard now.
And that's the end of the fight! Adam London comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well London has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
