Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rebus Nimble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Alastair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alastair has chosen Learning to Fly by Pink Floyd as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rebus Nimble!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alastair misses with a series of wild punches.
A slow jab from Alastair misses its intended target.
Alastair tries to clinch up.
Nimble looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Nimble throws a right and a left that Alastair avoids nicely.
Nimble blocks the body kick.

Alastair gets a clinch.
Alastair is looking to break free of the clinch but Nimble has double underhooks.
Alastair tries to break the clinch but Nimble is controlling the position.
Stalling in the clinch from Nimble.
Nimble seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.
Nimble lands with a left to the head.
Alastair is trying to push Nimble away but Nimble has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Nimble's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Alastair looks to land a combination but Nimble avoids it well.
Nimble ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Alastair will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Alastair looks gassed!
Nimble cracks the inside of Alastair's front leg.
Nimble lands a leg kick that knocks Alastair off balance momentarily.
Alastair drops his hands momentarily and Nimble takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Alexander Alastair has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Alastair on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Nimble cracks Alastair with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Alastair tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Nimble pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Alastair is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rebus Nimble!
