Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Cho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Deacon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark Cho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joey Deacon! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cho shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cho was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Deacon looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Cho controlling the position easily from mount. Cho's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Deacon's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Cho looking to control and managing it successfully.
 Mark Cho has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Deacon slips a jab and a cross from Cho.
Cho tries to clinch up but Deacon circles away and keeps his distance.
Cho gets a clinch. Cho lands a body punch. Cho scores with a nice hook to the head. Cho has Deacon pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Deacon manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Cho has Deacon pushed against the cage.

Cho pulls Deacon into guard.
Cho is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Cho is trying a forearm choke� I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Cho stands up out of the half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Cho misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cho tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Deacon paws at him with a jab and circles away. Cho moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Joey Deacon has been cut. Cho keeps the fight on the outside. Cho fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Cho tries to close the distance and clinch but Deacon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cho scores with a one two! Deacon had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A nice combination there by Cho.

Cho pulls guard effortlessly. Cho is adopting a defensive guard.
Cho wriggles free and stands up.
 That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cho closes the distance and pushes Deacon back into the cage.
Cho jumps guard and drags Deacon to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Deacon tries to free his leg and advance position but Cho is retaining full guard. Deacon throws an elbow that misses. Cho uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Deacon's guard. Nice move by Cho! Cho controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Cho dominated that round. The cut man is working on Joey Deacon's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Cho rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Deacon moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A head kick from Deacon lands but Cho takes it in his stride. Deacon misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Cho tries to close the distance and clinch up but Deacon swats him away and circles back towards the center. Cho is looking to clinch.

Cho has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Cho lands a left hand.
Deacon keeps control of Cho as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Cho's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Cho throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Cho tries to land knees in the clinch but Deacon avoids the damage to the body.

Cho gets a clinch. Cho is working Deacon over against the cage.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Cho lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Deacon backwards. Cho looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. A short right from Cho on the inside. Cho leaning against his opponent.
Cho wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Deacon has him pressed against the cage. Cho tries to break free but Deacon pushes him back against the cage. Deacon gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cho.
A nice left hand lands by Cho.

Cho lands an uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Deacon fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Mark Cho has scored more points in the clinch so far. Cho throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Deacons head.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. A frustrated look appears on Cho's face as he tries to break the clinch. Cho lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Cho pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Deacon letting Cho take a breather here. Cho lands an uppercut.
Cho manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Deacon throws a big right hand that misses.
Cho pushes Deacon off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Cho tries to close the distance and clinch up but Deacon swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cho fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Deacon, pushing him back against the cage. Cho lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Cho is leaning against Deacon and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Deacon managing to block the knees to the body from Cho.
Deacon wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Let's see if Deacon can do anything to dispel that myth. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cho gets a clinch. Cho lands with a light punch inside. Deacon misses with the head strike.
A nice right hand lands inside from Cho. Cho just leaning against Deacon, taking a breather. Cho is trying to push Deacon away but Deacon has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Deacon can't get the takedown.
Deacon is pressed up against the cage. Cho has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Deacon down to the mat. Deacon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. A shot to the liver by Cho. Beautiful body shot. Deacon is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Cho. Cho throws a leg kick and Deacon counters with a three punch combo that has Cho backing up. Cho nods at Deacon to acknowledge the strikes.
Cho clinches up with Deacon and pushes him back against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Deacon keeps control of Cho as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Cho is trying to break free. Cho lands a body punch.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Deacon is looking to stand up but Cho won't let him. Deacon wants to stand and escape but instead Cho has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Deacon can't keep his opponent in guard - Cho advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Deacon trying to control from the bottom.
Cho decides to stand and escape the position.
Cho takes the fight into the clinch.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Cho makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Cho decides to pull guard. Deacon wants to control from the top but Cho keeps moving.
Cho scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Mark Cho is winning the standup battle so far.
Cho has Deacon up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A short right hand to the side of the head by Cho. Cho lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Cho is struggling to control the position. Cho presses Deacon against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Cho has Deacon pressed against the cage, preventing Deacon from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Cho tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Deacon avoids it. Cho is trying to break the clinch but Deacon has him pressed against the cage. Cho blocks an uppercut.
Come on Cho - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Cho tries to circle away but Deacon has him pinned against the cage. Cho lands a body shot in the clinch.
Cho is trying to break the clinch but Deacon is controlling him. A right hook to the body lands for Cho.
Cho drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cho kicks Deacon off and gets to his feet.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Deacon tries to break the clinch but Cho is controlling the position. Cho just leaning against Deacon, taking a breather. A short right from Cho on the inside. The referee is keeping an eye on Cho - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Deacon is looking to break free of the clinch but Cho has double underhooks.
Cho pulls Deacon into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Deacon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Mark Cho overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Cho keeping moving, preventing Deacon from controlling successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cho pushes Deacon off and gets back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Mark Cho showed his dominance in that final round. Well Cho has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Mark Cho! Mark Cho decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
