Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jenwyn Browne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin comes to the cage accompanied by Dr. Feelgood. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jenwyn Browne!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin gets caught flat footed, as Browne shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Browne stands and throws Griffin's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Browne tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Griffin is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Browne is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Browne throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Griffin because Browne loaded up on that one.
Griffin is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Poor strikes thrown by Browne there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Browne is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Griffin is surviving well by controlling Browne's body position as best he can.
Browne is landing with some decent strikes but Griffin is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Browne frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
